Vehicle Design Project - Africa's future in transportation
As a proof of concept, the Vehicle Design Project with support from HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni (The Presidential Initiative to Support Science and Technology Innovations) is building a 2-Seater Electric Vehicle, code named The KIIRA-EV
It is impossible for the fate of the project to lie in the hands of a garage along dewinton road..totally not sure wat these guys are up to.. We cannot just get our supplies in time!
The Electronics and communications Teams..the ball is almost in yo courts.. Mechanical work in focus.. we need to do more..despite procurement concerns

Big Prospects for VDP
Habib Kagimu Pledges to Support the Makerere Vehicle Design Project Al Hajji Habib Kagimu pledged to use his contacts with the private sector to help the Faculty of Technology to turn the theory of the Kiira Electric Vehicle into practice.
The Vehicle Design Project strategically aims at the establishment of a Centre for Research in Transportation Technologies. With The KIRA-EV in the pipeline, we wait in eager anticipation!
