Human trafficking remains one of the darkest realities affecting vulnerable young people today and sadly, even young mothers are not spared. Over the past month, Move NETwork International has been walking a difficult but hopeful journey rescuing one of our young mothers who was trafficked and forced into s*x work.
By God’s grace and through the efforts of our partners, she is now safely back in Uganda. Our team is currently offering psycho-social support to help her heal from the trauma and rebuild her confidence.
We are also seeking opportunities for her to gain meaningful employment that can empower her to care for herself and her children.
At Move NETwork International, we stand firm in our mission to restore dignity, hope, and purpose to young mothers and youth. Together, we can fight the systems that exploit and rebuild the futures that were once broken.

At Move NETwork International, we believe that mental health is not a privilege, it’s a right.
With the incredible support of our partners at the Peaceful Heart Network, we’ve been working tirelessly to raise awareness about mental health among young mothers and young people in our communities and schools. Through the First Aid Stress and Trauma (F.A.S.T) initiative, we are teaching life-transforming techniques like the Trauma Tapping Technique (TTT) and the Havening Technique, practical, science-backed tools that help people manage fear, stress, and trauma.
From schools to local communities, we’ve reached and trained over 2,000 young people in stress and trauma relief skills, equipping them with the emotional tools to heal, hope, and dream again.
Through our community-based program, The Circle, young mothers gather monthly to share experiences, support each other, and practice these techniques creating safe spaces for emotional healing and growth.
Today, as the world marks , we stand with every young mother and young person fighting silent battles. Together, we can normalize conversations around mental health, restore hope, and build a generation that leads with resilience.

At Move NETwork International, our mission is simple but profound, to help young mothers and young people discover their God-given purpose and live it out with boldness and discipline.
We’ve learned and we teach that purpose is not born out of emotion, excitement, or trends. It’s not something you stumble upon when life feels easy. Purpose is forged in the fire, the fire of discipline, adversity, and obedience.
Many of the young mothers we serve have walked through unimaginable pain, rejection, broken dreams, and hardship. Yet, through our programs, mentorship, and skills training, they’re beginning to see that their pain can become their platform. That the same fire that once threatened to destroy them is now shaping them into leaders, mothers, and creators of change.
At Move NETwork International, we don’t just talk about dreams, we train, mentor, and walk alongside young people until those dreams become reality. Because living with purpose takes more than passion, it takes perseverance, resilience, and faith.
And when a young person begins to walk in their true purpose, they don’t just change their life, they ignite transformation in their families, their communities, and their generation.

Dear Culture, Why?
A young girl, barely old enough to hold a doll, already burdened by expectations she never chose. Her innocence replaced by responsibilities forced upon her by tradition.
This artwork by Dr. Spire, PhD, a Ugandan cartoonist, speaks volumes about the cultural norms that silently rob young girls of their childhood, education, and dreams.
At Move NETwork International, we believe culture should evolve, not erase. We can honor our roots while also building a safer, freer, and more equitable future for our daughters.
What does this image say to you?
Let’s talk about what it really means to protect our girls and empower the next generation.

Entrepreneurship is more than starting a business, it’s about mindset, creativity, and resilience. Our Entrepreneurship training brought together teenage mothers to explore how they can turn their ideas into sustainable ventures.
Participants developed innovative business concepts rooted in the needs of their own communities. Watching them link personal challenges to entrepreneurial opportunities was a powerful reminder that every idea holds the potential to create lasting impact.
Through this training, they gained practical skills in business planning, financial literacy, and resource management tools that will help them build not only businesses, but brighter futures for themselves, their families and communities.
Deep gratitude goes out to the facilitators, mentors, and partners, Kapadia Education Foundation, Little Big Fund and who supported us in shaping the next generation of changemakers.

At Move NETwork International, we believe true transformation doesn’t happen in isolation, it takes a community of stakeholders coming together with one shared vision, empowering teenage mothers and young people to lead change in their lives, families, and communities.
Our stakeholder engagement is more than just conversations; it is about building trust, sharing ownership, and co-creating solutions that last. By actively involving parents, schools, community leaders, local government, mentors, and partners, we ensure that every initiative we design is not only impactful but also sustainable.
Through this engagement, we are working to:
✅ Strengthen collaboration between community members and service providers.
✅ Ensure transparency and accountability in everything we do.
✅ Mobilize resources and knowledge to expand opportunities for teenage mothers and young people.
✅ Create safe spaces like The Circle where voices are heard, experiences are shared, and healing takes place.
✅ Lay the foundation for long-term partnerships that multiply impact.
Together with our stakeholders, we are re-imagining what it means to turn pain into power and dreams into destiny
