Being handicapped is already a challenge to adolescent children that stops many from attaining quality education.
Limitations such as lack of inclusion for all , Equity, mental health support, as well as stigma, transportation or easy movement to and fro from school pose as challenges to them.
On top of that menstrual health issues are also very critical towards the adolescent girls. Many girls stay away from school because of lack of menstrual health requirements such as sanitary towels.
If girls are to enjoy the full benefits of education they need to be supported with all of their menstrual health requirements.
It's my humble appeal that we double our efforts to ensure that disabled girls not only are able to attend schools but are also able to access the menstrual health requirements they need to ensure that they keep accessing education just like any other normal girls.
As we come to a close of the women's month(March) I foster a movement to each and everyone to see to it that disabled girls aren't left behind in terms of acquiring education and be included in all sectors in this country.
It is a huge pleasure to have been hosted by the Kampala school of the handicapped.

The inception of a thing seems unrealistic seems unrealistic but the end justifies the efforts.

The secret to getting ahead is getting started.🌸🌸🌸🌸

With the leaders at Uganda National Musicians Federation ( UNMF ). Effective leadership centers on empowering others, cultivating a vision and taking initiative.
The greatest leader isn't necessarily the one who does the greatest things. He is the one that gets the people to do the greatest things.
Moreso, a leader is one who knows the way,goes the way and shows the way.

As I am part of the Hunger Project Uganda which is part of Global Hunger Project Organization has helped turn ideas into action and create meaningful change for so many communities in Uganda.
With this effort it addresses the needs of the communities in areas such as environment (climate change)but also in education (building awareness on how to live sanitary(clean) lives)as well as health(eradicating hunger in these communities).
In celebration of Giving Tuesday, let's all unite into creating meaningful change in our societies that we live in so as to foster Actionable solutions for sustainable development in these communities.

It is very vital to bring up and empower children to be people of substance in a community and especially when they are at their early childhood stage.
