In a bid to further chess playing for children across Uganda, it pleases CPGA to announce sponsorship from three main partners namely; Jesa Farm Dairy, Stanbic Bank - Uganda and The New Vision Group.

This sponsorship sets CPGA on course to achieve one of its goals, supporting youth chess in all regions of Uganda, through a countrywide CPGA Youth Chess Championship (CYCC) running under the tag ‘Creating a Generation of Thinkers’. This championship shall be the first of its kind, pitting children and youth from Uganda’s different regions against each other, so as to further promote chess in the country.

As we welcome our main sponsors, CPGA also recognises the invaluable support from Sheraton Kampala Hotel, Uganda Chess Federation, Brand Chess Life Academy - BCLA, ODD Concepts, QG Group(Saatchi & Saatchi), Apt Media(photo credit), D&J Audio and ST. AGNES Academy.

DLT's style is influenced by his exposure to diverse cultures and music. DLT started playing at student house parties in the Netherlands city of Maastricht in 2001. His work travel and passion for music landed him a slot as weekend DJ at Liquid -a bubbly tech community hangout in the Ghanaian city of Accra in the early 2000s.
