Kemigisha is very angry after the kingdom elders rejected the WILL of his son where he had decided on who is to the next King of Tooro Kingdom.

UPDATE: Former CMI chief Maj Gen James Mugabe Birungi has been remanded again after his proposed surety failed to appear in court.
The General Court Martial at Makindye, chaired by Brig Gen Richard Tukachungurwa, ordered him held at Makindye Military Police Barracks until Thursday, 24 September, when the bail hearing continues.
He faces charges of treachery and offences relating to security.

TOORO KINGDOM: CALL FOR RETURN OF ROYAL GARMENTS 👑
Journalist Andrew Irumba has called on Queen Mother Best Kemigisa to return what he claims are official royal garments belonging to the Tooro Kingdom.
Irumba alleges that the garments, reportedly including attire associated with former Tooro kings from the early Omukama to the late King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV were taken from the palace.
He argues that the royal garments should remain within the palace and has urged their return, warning of possible consequences and invoking what he referred to as the “gods of Tooro.”
⚠️ Important: These allegations have not been independently verified, and no conclusion should be drawn about ownership or what happened to the garments without further evidence or a response from the parties concerned.

OMUKAMA SOLOMON GAFABUSA IGURU I’S 30 YEAR VISION FOR BUNYORO ( GOD PROTECT THE OMUKAMA)
His Majesty Rukirabasaija Agutamba Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I, Omukama of Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom, has for years championed a long term vision aimed at promoting the social, cultural and economic development of Bunyoro.
To help advance this vision, the Omuhikirwa (Prime Minister) Owek. Andrew Byakutaga Ateenyi and the Kingdom administration launched a number of programmes and initiatives focused on development, cultural preservation, economic empowerment and improving the welfare of the people of Bunyoro-Kitara.
The 30 year development vision was part of efforts to establish a structured long-term development agenda for the Kingdom, with experts brought on board to help formulate the plan.
📌 NOTE: This video was produced in 2020. Since then, some of the officials featured or mentioned in the video have passed away, while others have moved on from their positions within Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom.
The Kingdom has also continued to introduce new projects, programmes, partnerships and development initiatives since the video was produced.
