Theme. The constant companion we’d rather not acknowledge.
Has there been a time you don’t want to see the reflection of your face in the mirror, because all you see is the imperfections, the flaws, and the doubts that keep creeping in? The voices in your head that wisher,” you are not good enough,” “ you are not loved,”or” you are not worthy. Then eventually you begin to see the shadows of your past mistakes, a vortex of self doubt.
At that moment, realize that your greatest enemy was not the world outside but the voices with in. Take a deep breathe and with a new found determination confront those shadows and voices with positivity, self love and be free from the distortions of insecurity.
This painting can be see as a visual representation of someone’s inner turmoil, with the shadows of self doubt and her posture symbolizing her insecurities.
But by facing insecurity head-on by acknowledging its presence and by working to overcome come it , we can learn to live with it and even find a sense of freedom and peace. We all have insecurities how are you dealing with yours ?
