The Selah Rescue Center is a facility that houses hurting and forgotten women while the Pambazuka Ministry staff offers restoration, redemption, emotional, spiritual, and physical healing from sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, teenage pregnancies, forced marriages, domestic violence, hunger, poverty, shame, etc. Teen mothers come and live at the Selah Rescue Center for a few months while they learn a vocational skill, literacy training, parenting advice, health/hygiene education, proper nutrition, and business training before returning with their children back to the village with their heads held high. The widows reside permanently at the Selah Rescue Center as a peaceful resting place to call home and a place where they receive proper nutrition, medical care, and love in their final years. Selah Rescue Center is a place where hurting and forgotten women come to discover their worth in God's eyes as well as discover how much God loves them.
