We were delighted to participate in Google I/O Extended x Build with AI Jinja 2026, hosted by Google Developers Group - Jinja techmakers Jinja and tech Hub on Saturday, 25th July 2026.
The event brought together developers, tech enthusiasts, students, and innovators to explore the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Google technologies, and the future of software development. It included building AI-powered website portfolios with Google AI Studio by Gabriel Agbobli and exploring the power of multi-agent AI systems in Anti-gravity 2.0 by Shadrack Inusah, MSPM
At Queens Coding Initiative, we believe that continuous learning and community engagement are essential to empowering girls and young women to thrive in technology. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an impactful event and look forward to applying the knowledge gained to strengthen our programs and inspire more young people to embrace emerging technologies.

International Women’s Day Jinja 2026 – A Powerful Success!
We are proud to have successfully hosted the International Women’s Day Jinja 2026 celebration on under the theme with Women techmakers Jinja a full day dedicated to empowering, inspiring, and connecting women and girls in technology.
The event brought together incredible minds from young women and students to innovators, mentors, and community leaders all committed to challenging norms and creating opportunities in tech.
Throughout the day, we engaged in:

✨ Mentorship and knowledge sharing
✨ Skill-building conversations
✨ Networking and collaboration
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Women Techmakers Technovation Digital Woman Uganda for their valuable support, to tech hub for providing the venue, to our Speakers, Volunteers and attendees that made this event possible. 🤝
This was more than just a celebration it was a reminder that when women come together, we create impact, break barriers, and shape the future.
