Bulindi ZARDI is one of 16 public agricultural research institutes of NARO.

It conducts basic and applied research and spearheads the dissemination of technologies to uptake pathways for increased adoption in the Lake Albert Crescent Zone.

Bulindi ZARDI hosted the Match Making Expo for smallholder coffee irrigation schemes under Agriculture Cluster Development Project ((ACDP). The Deputy Coordinator of ACDP in the ministry of agriculture, animal industry and fisheries, Mr. Ojangole Steven, advised the coffee growers to select irrigation schemes basing on land size, sources of water, cost and ease of maintenance and operation. The two-day event brought together different clusters and irrigation services providers.
