Job Overview
Come work at MLB Living Ltd, an online marketplace that delivers household consumables and
more. We are looking to hire a Purchasing Assistant to help us keep growing. Are you passionate
about Online Retail, Effective Networking, Sales and Customer Delight? If you answered
Yes, then MLB Living is looking for you.

DUTIES
Carryout timely products purchases, sorting, packing as well as ensuring readiness of
order packages for efficient and faster delivery.
• Acquiring proof of purchase in form of receipts for all items purchased from vendors
and sharing them with the Accounts System Records Controller for update and
keeping accurate records of purchases made.
• Verify and inspect order items for accuracy and quality validation in relation to
WooCommerce’s customer order.
• Ensure no damaged and/or poor-quality items are purchased, stocked nor dispatched
for delivery.
• Keeping in touch with the customer at every stage of the order life-cycle, and
addressing any order adjustments, as and when required.
• Carry out stock purchases on demand, from MLB vetted vendors.
• Scout for price changes and communicate them to the Systems Administrator for
immediate adjustments.
• Continuously conduct competitor analysis to identify popular products, gaps,
opportunities and threats.
• Because it’s the DNA of MLB Living, you need to be ready to sell, and to delight a
customer, any chance you get, online or offline.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications
• High School or equivalent
• Good understanding of popular household products in the industry
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, professional, and charming charisma
• Flexible to travel to meet with suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers as required
• Able to lift, carry and move a minimum of 20kg
• If effective online presence is your thing, then you’re at a greater advantage.
