Which vegetables have the highest overall nutritional value?
Herbaceous plants that are suitable for human consumption include vegetables. Vegetables' nutritional value determines whether or not they contain those vital elements required to sustain life. Because they combine nutrition and pharmacological benefits, scientists classify vegetables as nutraceuticals. Vegetables include a variety of chemical compounds that have extensive therapeutic value.
Practically every component of a plant, including the stem, leaves, roots, and flowers, is used by humans as food. It is well recognized that maintaining good health requires a balanced diet rich in veggies. If only something a little tastier had those benefits! While several veggies are high on various forms of nutrients, some of them, like broccoli, are high on practically all measures. The approximate nutritional values for a few popular vegetables are included in the table below.

What are some of the high-carbohydrate foods that should be avoided?
In a word, none. There is no food that you should absolutely avoid at all. What you should do is consider food as a whole and make sure you eat the right amounts of each food, and in combination with the other foods.
Sugar is basically 100% simple carbs, so it’s one of those foods you should consume in a measured way. The goal is to have around 5–10 grams of added sugar per day. You are OK with a teaspoon of sugar in your morning coffee or with an occasional small dessert. Even better if you combine this moderate amount of sugar with a meal rich in fibers (from vegetables) and proteins, plus some complex carbs (starches like pasta, bread, rice, etc.).
In about the same way, your meal should not be a humongous bowl of rice with little else, but a small bowl of rice with vegetables, fish, and some fruit for a dessert is a very good meal.
