This is how we celebrated Easter at Nazareth House and with our godchildren.

Alle Kinder unserer Daniel Project im Flüchtlingslager zusammenzubringen, ist nicht leicht – es sind rund 600 Kinder und Jugendliche.
Dank der Unterstützung des CDH Stephanus Vereins können wir diese Kinder – überwiegend aus dem Südsudan, geflohen nach Uganda – zur Schule schicken und wöchentlich in unserem Programm begleiten. Unser Ziel: Bildung und Gottes Liebe.
In den letzten Wochen konnten wir weitere Kinder aufnehmen, wie die 8-jährige Gloria, die mit zehn anderen Kindern bei ihren Großeltern lebt – mit weniger als 4 € pro Tag.

Bringing all the children of our Daniel Project together in the refugee camp isn’t easy – there are around 600 children and youth.
With the support of CDH Stephanus Verein, we can send them – mostly from South Sudan, now in Uganda – to school and welcome them weekly into our program. Our goal: education and sharing God’s love.
Recently, we’ve been able to include more children, like 8-year-old Gloria, who lives with ten other children at her grandparents’ home – on less than €4 a day.

Nazareth Haus möchte Kinder ganzheitlich fördern – geistlich, geistig, körperlich und sozial-emotional (Lk 2,52).
Diese Woche haben wir Lineale gebastelt. 📏
Viele Kinder konnten dabei zum ersten Mal Schere, Kleber und Stifte ausprobieren (Feinmotorik), etwas über Zahlen und Messen lernen und gleichzeitig Materialien teilen, zusammen spielen und einander helfen.
Und während sie messen lernen, hören sie auch: Gottes Liebe für sie ist unermesslich (Eph 3,18). ❤️

At Nazareth Haus we want children to grow holistically – spiritually, mentally, physically and socially (Luke 2:52).
This week we made rulers together. 📏
Many kids used scissors, glue and pencils for the first time (fine motor skills), learned about numbers and measuring, and practiced sharing materials, playing and creating together.
And while they learn to measure, they also hear: God’s love for them cannot be measured (Eph 3:18). ❤️

Letztes Jahr haben wir eine dreitägige Daniel-Project-Konferenz mit über 350 Jugendlichen durchgeführt. Themen wie Identität, Ziele, Liebe, Gruppendruck und Erwachsenwerden haben vielen neue Perspektiven eröffnet.
Diesen Monat planen wir ein Programm für alle, die gerade die Grundschule (7 Jahre) oder die Mittlere Reife abgeschlossen haben. Wer mag, kann unser „Leavers Camp“ unterstützen.

Empowering the next generation! 🌟

Last year, we held a three-day Daniel Project conference with over 350 students. Topics like identity, goals, love, peer pressure, and growing up opened many new perspectives.
This month, we’ll run a program for all who just completed primary or lower secondary school. Anyone who wants to support our “Leavers Camp” is welcome.

Heute durften wir Expertinnen und Experten aus ganz Uganda auf unserer Farm begrüßen – darunter Wissenschaftler der Muni University! 🌱
Gemeinsam arbeiten wir an einem Ziel: mehr Ernährungssicherheit für alle! 💪🌾

Today we welcomed experts from all over Uganda to our farm – including researchers from Muni University! 🌱
Together, we’re working towards one goal: greater food security for everyone! 💪🌾
