Our team is currently in Lobule Sub-County, in the villages of Arabule, Aratiso and Aliwaku Koboko District, conducting a climate-proofing risk assessment a critical step toward building resilience against climate shocks in vulnerable communities.

The assessment uses a community-based approach that incorporates local knowledge in identifying climate risks, strengthening preparedness, and protecting livelihoods from the impacts of climate change.

In Yei, South Sudan, we trained a committed group of Community Peace Ambassadors drawn from local structures across Yei and Lainya Counties.

They have been equipped with practical skills and knowledge to promote peaceful coexistence, prevent conflict, and strengthen unity within their communities.

Through this work, we continue to invest in local leadership, empowering individuals who understand the context, carry the trust of their people, and are ready to champion peace from within.

We conducted a training in Yei South Sudan on PSEA and Harassment for our SPEED partners Staff and local community structure representatives.

The training focused on prevention, reporting, and promoting zero tolerance for abuse, while strengthening accountability and safeguarding systems.

Together, we are creating environments where everyone is respected, protected, and heard.
