Five days at in Colorado’s Gunnison Forest. A good old-fashioned boys’ trip, courtesy of .
We fly fished, rode horses, and had a go at blacksmithing. When we weren’t forging iron, there was mountain biking, rafting, clay shooting, and food far too good for a ranch in the middle of nowhere.
Wine tastings by day, sundowners and poker by night. I’d tell you who won, but a gentleman never does.
If this sounds like your kind of trip, get in touch.

“It was 200 dolphins that we swam with. We’re not talking about one or two.”
That’s Barbara, just back from 20 days in New Zealand with her niece, led by my Expert .
100 miles on her boots. A wild kiwi spotted in the dead of night on Stewart Island. An orca with two calves off the side of the boat. A helicopter over the Southern Alps.
This is what happens when you’re connected with the right Expert on the ground.

We just wrapped up a few days in the Cotswolds and it was magical. The perfect change of pace from the city, and it fulfilled all of our British, Bridgerton hopes and dreams we had.
We stayed in Tetbury, where we celebrated my mom’s birthday, enjoying the local restaurants and bakeries and browsing all the charming antique shops, all quintessentially British. For a day trip, we visited Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and walked its historic streets.
The Cotswolds is exactly what you imagine it to be, with rolling green hills, quaint cottages, kind people, and luxuriously comfortable stays. It really is the ultimate relaxation retreat and you must add it to your list!

London has a vibrant food scene, rich history, and a little bit of everything.
For my mom’s 60th birthday, we celebrated in style with an epic girls’ trip! John gave us insider tips and connected us with a local Expert to make sure we hit all the right spots.
As first-timers to the UK, London is every bit as spectacular as it seems. We caught Hamilton in the West End, had a proper Sunday roast, did plenty of shopping, and visited the classic historical sites and parks.
It’s one of those special cities that reminds you just how big this world really is!
Next, we’re heading to the Cotswolds to slow things down for a few days in a private cottage, swapping the city for some countryside relaxation.
The UK has been an incredible experience, and I highly recommend it. If this kind of trip interests you, reach out to John!

I stood a few feet from these gorillas in February. This week, David Attenborough shared their story with the world.
A Gorilla Story is a must watch. Narrated by David Attenborough, it follows the Pablo family, a group of mountain gorillas living in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda. One of the most studied gorilla families in the world.
What makes it extraordinary is how familiar it all feels. The young gorillas playing and pestering family members, the tension and shifting of power between silverbacks, how the family mourns the loss of one of their own. Their world mirrors ours in ways that are hard to overlook.
Above all, this film is a tribute to Dian Fossey and the decades of conservation work that brought mountain gorillas back from the brink of extinction.
All photos and videos are from my recent trip, taken in the very place where this story unfolds.
You must add this to your watch list.🦍

I recently planned and guided a journey across Africa with a close colleague, Kevin Jackson of .
The brief: moving 20 people across Africa. We began at a private island, moved to the Southern Serengeti viewing the wildebeest migration (from a hot air balloon), stayed in a mobile safari camp on the Grumeti Reserve, and concluded with gorilla trekking in Rwanda. It was extraordinary.
One of our guests, Francisco, has just shared what stayed with him most. And it wasn’t the wildlife or the camps…
It was the people.

There are journeys that slow you down. The Mekong is one of them.
From Cambodia to Vietnam, or the reverse, this river pulls you into a world built entirely on water.
Floating schools. Floating markets. Temples that rise and fall with the seasons. Life here hasn’t changed much, and there’s something profound in that.
If the Mekong is calling, get in touch. We’ll make sure you experience it properly.
