Do it while you can🙏🏾

There’s a season when you have the energy, the time, and the freedom to explore. Travel, climb mountains, take the chances, and make memories.

Life changes. Priorities shift. We get older. So enjoy the season you’re in and make it count.

7th Summit of Mt. Karisimbi.

At 4,507 metres, Mt. Karisimbi stands as the highest mountain in Rwanda and the highest peak of the Virunga volcanic chain, ranking among the 11 highest mountains in Africa.

My favorite mountain in Rwanda🫂

Seven summits, yet never the same experience.

The mountain remains unchanged, but every ascent tells a different story, the weather, the challenge, the silence, the people, and the moments that stay with you long after the descent.

Some mountains are conquered once.
Some become a part of your story.

Karisimbi will always be one of mine💆🏿‍♂️

Day 2 Mt Karisimbi.

7th time on Karisimbi.

The sunrise hits differently up here. The silence, the cold, the endless views, there’s something about being in the mountains that makes everything feel lighter.

What a beautiful life it is to be in the mountains.

Somewhere along the trail, I found myself.

After a couple of weeks away from the mountains, I’m back.

This was my 7th time climbing Mount Karisimbi, and somehow, the 8th time is already calling me.

There’s a mountaineer I never had the chance to meet in person, but whose journey inspired me deeply. I always dreamed that one day we would share a trail together ~Nimsdai Purja.
Rest in Peace my role model🙏🏾

The first time I watched 14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible, it became much more than a documentary for me. It challenged me mentally and made me look at my own journey differently.
It made me ask myself: Is it time to stop, or is it time to keep going?

There have been moments when I doubted myself, felt exhausted, or wondered whether the dream was still worth pursuing. But Nimsdai’s journey reminded me that sometimes the hardest part is simply deciding to take the next step.

His story taught me that mountains are not only about reaching the summit. They teach you patience, discipline, courage, resilience, and the strength to keep moving when everything inside you tells you to stop.

And now, I have another dream, to one day see the Himalayas with my own eyes. I want to start with Everest Base Camp, and maybe, if I keep learning, training and climbing, one day I’ll stand on the top of the world Mount Everest💆🏿‍♂️

I always dreamed of meeting Nimsdai, shaking his hand, telling him how much his journey inspired me, and maybe sharing a trail together🫂

Now, meeting him in this world is impossible.
But I still want to believe that heaven has mountains too. Maybe there are trails up there that we haven’t discovered yet. And maybe one day, all of us mountaineers will meet again and hike together.

Until then, I’ll keep climbing, keep dreaming, and keep finding my way back to the mountains.

Nimsdai, you inspired people you never even met. I’m one of them.

Rest in Paradise Bro🙏🏾

Back in the mountains. Back to the dream.
The mountains are always calling me☺️

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia 🇪🇹

Started with injera and Tej, and somehow ended up experiencing Ethiopian culture through food, music, and dance.

This is what I love about traveling, not just seeing a place, but getting involved, trying new things, and creating unexpected memories.

Ethiopia, you definitely know how to make someone feel welcome 🫂❤️

📍 Yod Abyssinia Cultural Resturant
Thank you for the wonderful experience.
