Mbeya Christmas Fair 2024 @maua_cafe Thank you for 10 years of supporting Maua Cafe and local artisans and small businesses in the Mbeya Region and Southern Highlands.

Maua Cafe was honoured to be presented with a certificate of appreciation from TFS for working together to promote tourism in the southern Highlands. The meeting in the bush was a welcome surprise....except for the shoes and clothes. :)

Thank you, TFS Rungwe, for the appreciation certificate for tourism activities in Rungwe. Our meeting, turned out to be a meeting in the forest. I joined dressed in low heels, a skirt and pearls, unaware of the program planned at the meeting. I love unexpected surprises. Joshua was in a longsleeved shirt and trousers. :) Hiked 45min to the waterfall barefoot and back amidst stunning nature. Sank into knee-deep mud holes twice that were covered with branches, when called to meet the DC of Rungwe and take pictures at the waterfall. Amazingly, my skirt didnt get much dirt on. I am open to unexpected meetings like this. It was beautiful. To be part of other tourism stakeholders in the Mbeya region was an honour. Ahsante sana. Do visit Mount Rungwe, the THIRD highest mountain in Tanzania.

Kusini International Trade Fair and Festival was a month ago already. What an honour to be part of it. See you all next year!
