African Environments

The start of a Kilimanjaro climb is full of excitement mixed with a whole lot of nerves.

At this stage, we've done our couple of days of acclimatization, testing gear, and getting to know the leader. Then we head to the gate to begin the trek.

We are lucky enough to have some of the best guides in the business, and these are the guys that our guests bond with and spend the entire trip with. We can honestly say that you're in good hands! 😍

Always full of smiles, endlessly hardworking, and an absolute pleasure to be around, Omondi brings such positive energy wherever he goes. Whether helping around the office or working out in the bush, he is always ready to lend a hand and give his all.

Food is a big part of safari with us 😆

Here is Sifuni serving a guest at our Mysigio Camp in Ngorongoro. We are very lucky to have great chefs, and an amazing food and beverages manager, Lily - who all ensure the food we serve is to such a high standard.

This was last year for Makari's wedding where most of our office & guiding team were out at Lake Manyara. It is safe to say that a lot of fun was had! :)

Rama is such a steady and integral part of not only the accounts department, but the entire AE team. Quietly hardworking, reliable, and always supportive, he is someone everyone respects immensely.

He may be one of the quieter members of the team, but the appreciation and respect his colleagues have for him speaks volumes.
