We had the pleasure of taking the world’s greatest free soloist, Alex Honnold, his wife Sanni and friends out on a short bike tour around Taipei the day before his now-legendary free solo climb of Taipei 101. 🧗‍♂️🏙️🚲

What a seriously nice, down-to-earth chap. A great time was had by all, and we like to think the ride helped him relax a little and forget - briefly - about the small matter of climbing a skyscraper the next day.

We had the pleasure of designing a tour for Geoff and his family, which featured Yilan and the east coast of the island.

On an eclectic bicylcle mix of road bike for dad, flat handlebar hybrids for Mum and older daughter, and an e-bike for the youngest daughter.

The typically flat Yilan rice fields, and rift valley gave no significant advantage to the young e-bike rider, which was critical for family harmony!

Taroko Gorge is back!

A year after the earthquake left the gorge needing repairs, the road through Taroko Gorge is now open again for cyclists to enjoy.

Furthermore, the road has been repaved and with hiking trails still closed, it means you can enjoy the surroundings in peace from other tourists.

One of the world’s most impressive pieces of road is back on the menu for cyclists visiting Taiwan :)
