✨ 3 Years of Entrepreneurship. One Purpose-Driven Journey.
Three years ago, I stepped into entrepreneurship—not fully knowing where it would lead.
In 2022, I had some free time on my hands and decided to explore something new. Although I’m a nurse and licensed midwife by profession, I didn’t start there. I leaned into my creative side—artisanal gifts, personalized items, throw pillows, t-shirts… I tried it all.
But even in that season, I never let go of nursing and midwifery.
I started sharing educational content through Bump and Beyond Mondays, talking about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—without realizing that this was a quiet nudge toward my true calling.
A defining moment came when I supported my sister-in-law through a home birth and delivered my niece. That experience was deeply enriching. She asked me, “Why aren’t you offering this?”
At the time, I wasn’t ready. I still wanted to explore creativity.
But everywhere I went, people kept asking me questions—since you’re a nurse… since you’re a midwife…
And one day I realized: I was freely giving away years of knowledge, compassion, and experience—without structure or sustainability.
With encouragement from family, friends, and later my coach Shelly Aquis-Solomon, everything shifted. One question changed my trajectory:
“Why are you focusing on selling products when you have expertise?”
That was the turning point.
Through coaching and the Positioned to Propel Academy, I learned how to properly build a business as a solopreneur—systems, backend, branding, confidence. It was hard. I cried. I doubted myself. I wanted to quit more times than I can count.
But every time I felt like giving up, a reminder showed up—a new client, a message, a moment of confirmation.
Today, I stand firmly as a nursing and midwifery consultant, walking with women and families through pregnancy, birth preparation, breastfeeding, and postpartum care. I love holding space for fears, answering questions, and watching anxiety turn into confidence through evidence-based education.
This journey has taught me that sometimes your detour is your preparation.
Three years later, I’m still evolving. Still learning. Still serving.
And I’m deeply grateful for every woman and family who has trusted me along the way.

Part 6| When does baby really “drop”? 👶🏽✨
Engagement usually happens around 36–37 weeks in a first-time pregnancy…
But in a multiparous woman, engagement may not happen until labour has already started.
In this video, I’m demonstrating how I check for engagement — if the head can still be balloted, baby is not yet engaged.
