ADDITIONAL SECURITY MEASURES FOR INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS INTO THE UNITED STATES. Port of Spain, October 27, 2017. Caribbean Airlines advises that the United States of America, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) now requires additional security measures for all international flights to the United States. These measures may include increased screening of travellers with questioning of some or all travellers, as well as heightened screening of electronic devices larger than a standard smartphone. Travellers should be prepared to remove these devices from their cases for inspection. For international flights, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recommends arriving at the airport at least three hours before your flight, allowing time for the additional security measures.
