For example, if a person uses his/her platform to advertise negative, derogatory or even pornographic images or media it could have a devastating effect on how society views you this may lead to loss of gainful employment, public scrutiny and humiliation and even blacklisted for future employment.

To become an effective digital learner, one must become fluent in using and understanding technology. As the world changes rapidly and people and technology have advance so to must humans. For example. A person may have access to a lot of devices and not have the knowledge or the know how to operate their devices. Another thing is a person may know how to use social media sites but we must not assume they know ever thing about the world wild web.
