Cenk Torun

I am Cenk Torun, born on March 24, 1974, in Ankara, Türkiye. From a young age, I was drawn to the arts, and my journey as an actor began in 1994. Over the years, I have been fortunate to work on many memorable projects, from my breakthrough role as Oktay in Çılgın Bediş in the 90s, to my recent work in the Turkish series Redemption (Esaret). Other roles I cherish include Prisoner of Love (Więzień miłości) where I played Oguz, Yeter, Seytanin Çocuklari-El Ebyaz, N’apcaz simdi?, and Fadik Intikam Pesinde. I even appeared in Yıldız Tilbe’s music video My Boy back in 1994. Looking back, I sometimes wonder what might have been, like the role I declined in Kurtlar Vadisi just before my military service, which later became the iconic character Polat Alemdar.
Off-screen, my life has had its challenges. My father passed away in 2003, a loss that shaped much of who I am. I was once married to Nevin Sürmen Torun (also known as Nevin Ursavaş), and together we have one child. Today, I am divorced, and that chapter of my life is behind me.
At this point in my life, I am searching for something deeper — a true love built on tenderness, respect, and honesty. I want someone who sees me for who I truly am, beyond the screen and the spotlight, someone to share genuine moments with. Life has taught me the value of sincerity and compassion, and I hope to find a love that reflects those values, warm, peaceful, and real.
