As well as the big four (Aya Sofya, Topkapı Palace, Blue Mosque, and Grand Bazaar) leave enough time to explore the many other sights. Although many tourist attractions are located in, or near, the old city district of Sultanahmet, have you ever been curious about the tower appearing on our congress flyers? The Maiden's Tower (Turkish: Kız Kulesi), since the medieval Byzantine period, is a tower lying on a small islet located at the southern entrance of the Bosphorus strait 200 m (220 yd) from the coast of Üsküdar in Istanbul, Turkey. There are many legends about the construction of the tower and its location.
For the most popular Turkish legend visit; http://www.ibb.gov.tr/sites/ks/en-US/1-Places-To-Go/towers/Pages/maiden-tower.aspx
Today, there is a restaurant in the first floor and a café at the top of the tower.
