Haji Reza Khodadad, Tabriz, Iran.

Haji Reza Khodadad was born in Tabriz, Iran, in the early 1940s. The son of a merchant family, he grew up in the bustling bazaar streets where trade, poetry, and tradition lived side by side. Known in his youth for his sharp wit and remarkable mustache, he later became respected as a community elder.

Reza carried himself with quiet dignity, always dressed in his dark wool suit and the traditional oversized headgear of his region. People sought his counsel in matters of trade and family disputes, for he had a reputation of being both fair and unshakably honest.

Though the world around him modernized, Haji Reza remained a guardian of old customs. He was often seen sipping tea in the corner of the bazaar, telling stories of past generations, reminding the young that roots and heritage are as important as progress.
