The conference is well underway, and our team is actively contributing both on the exhibition floor and within the technical program.

We are pleased to present our technical poster:

“CFD-Optimized Cyclone and Calciner Design for Alternative Fuel Use and CO₂ Reduction”

This work introduces a self-automated CFD optimization methodology utilizing OpenFOAM to improve combustion efficiency and cyclone separation performance. The approach supports reduced fossil fuel consumption and lower CO₂ emissions, while delivering cost-effective, AI-driven process enhancements for cement production.

This represents another step forward in our commitment to advancing sustainable, future-ready cement technologies.

DAL is honored to have been recognized as Best Supplier 2025 by Holcim Azerbaijan.

Holcim Azerbaijan required the complete replacement of a cement mill. DAL took on the full scope: design, manufacturing, and on-site ex*****on. The delivered unit, a 2.6 × 13 m ball mill with drive system and a capacity of 35 tph, was manufactured at our facilities and commissioned by our team in Baku, covering mechanical installation, automation integration, and performance verification through to final handover.

Projects like this reflect what we have built over four decades in the cement industry: the ability to take full ownership of complex, critical-path scopes and deliver them to specification, on site, with our own engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

As the Easter season arrives, we take a moment to reflect on the partnerships, projects, and shared achievements that define our work, and to express our sincere gratitude to the clients, collaborators, and colleagues who make it all possible.

DAL recently completed a top cyclone modification project at the CRH cement plant in Bulacan, Philippines, covering full engineering scope from detailed design through on-site technical supervision.

The work focused on upgrading the preheater top cyclone to improve pyro-process efficiency and operational stability. Ex*****on involved close coordination with the plant's operations team to minimise downtime and work within the constraints of the existing infrastructure.

On-site supervision covered the full installation sequence: dismantling of the existing cyclone, new unit installation, riser duct modifications, welding, geometric alignment, and structural adjustments as conditions required during ex*****on. QA/QC and safety protocols were maintained throughout. The upgraded system has since achieved stable operation, with performance results in line with project targets.
