Subject-verb agreement [present tenses]
Subject: who/what the sentence is about.
Verb: action in the sentence.

How to use the verb "get" in English?
There are many different meanings of "get":
1. Get = acquire, buy, take
- I'll get a new phone.
- I got my computer at the Apple store.
2. Get = receive
- I got some clothes for my birthday.
3. Get = bring
- I'll get my phone from the desk.
4. Get = score
- I got the highest mark in the exam.
5. Get = become
- It's getting hot in here! Can you open the window, please.
- Please don't get angry with me
6. Get = arrive
- I'll get there in no time.
- He got to work late yesterday.
7. Get = cause someone to do something
- Mom, can you get my father to buy me a new computer? I really need it.
