International direct investment in Turkey increased by 79 percent

Turkey's direct international investment reached $14 billion in 2021, an increase of 79 percent.

According to the “World Investment Report” issued by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), there is a much smaller 15 per cent drop in average FDI flows in 2020 and a 35 per cent drop has been observed worldwide.

It was reported that FDI inflows to Turkey showed an increase of 79 percent in 2021 and reached the level of $14 billion.
