DAYS BEFORE THE BURNOUT-Mixed media on canvas 70x90 cm now on view at
This piece came to me as a satire take on the contradictions we face today as women. I find myself inquiring: How does one deal with all the absurdity we absorb from our era , society ? How does one make sense from entanglement ? How does one avoid burnout ? 🤯🤯🤯
My response as a female artist is a simple one ; make art 🎨 ✨️
But I wonder how other people cope ?

Disclaimer patient zero - dyptick acrylics on paper

I created this piece in the midst of the first break of covid-19, where we were thrown in the unknown.
It felt like a worldwild experiment out of a sci-fi movie. The isolation , the vaccination campaigns, all the sudden loss of people to the virus . We experienced a worldwilde alienation of reality. I was always thinking about the aftermath.
We are now in 2024, witnessing a full-blown genocide on our phones, seeing horrors beyond human comprehension, with the help of AI geolocation of targets, pedestrians walking the streets of Gaza ..
I am still wondering where are we headed ?
Is this technology advancement the downfall of humanity ?

"باقون ما بقي الزعتر و الزيتون"🫒🫒🫒
"We are staying as stays thym and olive trees"
Olive branches symbol of resistance of the Palestinian people, the aboriginal people of the land, a dignified cry for justice and truth, is today shared all-over the world in recognition of the Palestinian's suffering.
As a Tunisian the Palestinian cause has always been one that we carry in our hearts.
May الله deliver the justice that the international community is failing to .

This drawing is a humble acknoledgement of the suffering of Palestians.
