This is a massive SOS. We are at a cross roads. Our donations don’t cover our monthly expenses. Tomorrow we have to pay staff salaries! If we don’t have staff, we can’t look after all the animals in our care. I certainly can’t do that alone. Been there before and it almost killed me.

After months away working to earn money to keep things running, I’m now back and therefore have no personal income to pay the short fall. Without you, we can’t survive. It is that simple.

We are thankful to everyone who donates and supports our work. We realise that the cost of living has become insane and it is difficult to survive. So many monthly donors have ceased, due to the current economic climate.

I have been very quiet the past few weeks. Sadly, we unexpectedly lost two of our precious dogs when they passed away suddenly. The only way I have been able to deal with the shock and sadness, has to try and not think about it. I’m really sorry 💔

Oliang, who was bitten by a cobra a few days ago, came home today! It was a stressful few days and a sleepless nights, but so thankful our sweet Oliang pulled through!

Oliang has been bitten by a cobra 😢

Sweet little Oliang was found with a swollen face this morning during feeding time. She ate well and seemed her usual self, but we had her checked by the vet just in case. Blood work was fairly normal, so she was send home with some medications.

This afternoon during feeding, one of our staff informed me that Oliang wouldn’t eat and that she seemed lethargic. She also found a dead cobra and I immediately had her taken to the vet. Blood was taken and in a matter of hours, some reading had spiked!

The swelling in her mouth from this afternoon seems to have subsided, but she is drooling excessively and appears lethargic. She has been given cobra antivenom serum, anti-inflammatory medication, a saliva-reducing medication, antibiotics and she needs to be admitted at the vet for observation. Her condition is uncertain at this time 💔 We desperately need your help with her vet expenses.

Please keep Oliang in your thoughts. This is devastating and I am worried sick about her. Please keep fighting sweet girl x

I can’t believe it has been 2 years since our beautiful Adele left us 💔

My heart aches for Adele and so many others at our sanctuary who never find their forever homes. Dealing with the grief when they pass is hard, but knowing they never had their very own home is devastating.

I know you are having fun at the rainbow bridge sweet girl, but I miss you every single day. You were our matriarch xx
