ขอให้น้องเบล wine enthusiast ประจำ ( ) Bracket wine bar ของเราเล่าถึงองุ่น Stueben กับ Delaware ให้ฟังหน่อย เบลบอกว่าที่ table grape องุ่นลูกผสมทานสดได้จากอเมริกาทั้งสองคนนี้ฮิตในญี่ปุ่นเพราะเป็นองุ่นเปลือกบาง เติบโตได้ดีในอากาศหนาวเย็น ผลเล็กเหมือนเบอร์รี่ เหมาะกับสภาพอากาศ จึงถูกจริตชาวสวน แถมให้บอดี้บางเบา หอมหวาน อโรมาติก เน้นกลิ่น แอลกอฮอล์, tannin, กับ acidity ไม่สูงเกินไป ถูกปากนักดื่มญี่ปุ่นเพราะเข้ากันได้ดีกับอาหารการกินและ Izakaya culture

ความ Slip-Skin ลอกเปลือกง่าย ทำให้ Delaware เหมาะเป็นองุ่นทานเล่น แทนของหวาน กลิ่นอโรม่าให้ความรู้สึก Nostalgia ถึงขนมวัยเด็กอย่างพวกเยลลี่องุ่น เป็นทางเลือกที่ราคาดีกว่า Muscat หรือ Kyoho คนญี่ปุ่นจึงมักเลือกซื้อเป็นของขวัญ ส่วนในฝั่งของไวน์ ถึง delaware จะเป็นองุ่นแดงสีชมพูระเรื่อแต่ก็มักนำไปทำเป็นไวน์ขาวหรือโรเซ่ก็เพราะเรื่องที่เปลือกลอกง่ายอีกเช่นกัน

ส่วนทาง Steuben แม้จะเป็นองุ่นสีม่วงครามเข้มเกือบดำ แต่ความที่เป็น Slip-skin เหมือนกัน เลยเน้นนำไปทำไวน์แดงอ่อน โรเซ่ หรือไวน์แดงที่บอดี้บางๆ เป็นที่ถูกใจชาวสวนฟาร์มองุ่นญี่ปุ่นเพราะความทน ความแกร่ง ทนโรค ปรับตัวได้ดีในสภาพอากาศบ้านเค้า เก็บนอกฤดูกาลได้ และแม้เก็บเกี่ยวแล้วก็ยังกักเก็บความหวานและคุณลักษณะเด่นทางกลิ่นรสให้ยังอยู่ในผลได้นาน
