🌍✨ International NextGen Olympiad & AI Robotics Bootcamp: Highlights during 5–9 June 2026 | Thailand | Vietnam | Nepal | Bangladesh | India
Arrival & Icebreakers
Students and the rest of the participants touched down in Bangkok, greeted with warm hospitality and smooth check‑ins. The opening orientation introduced them to Thai language, culture, and community values. To spark creativity, the Robotic Challenge had teams build robots that were quirky, cringe‑worthy, or hilariously nonsensical, breaking the ice with laughter and collaboration.
STEAM Olympiad championship followed by AI Robotics Innovation
The STEAM Olympiad and hands‑on AI & Robotics workshops set the tone for academic exploration. While students dove into emerging tech, teachers joined “The AI‑Augmented Teacher” session, reimagining the classroom in an AI‑driven world. The evening wrapped with a Cultural Show, where participants proudly showcased performances from their home countries celebrating diversity and friendship.
Deep Dive into Tech
An intensive AI & Robotics Workshop plus a Drone Seminar gave students practical skills and real‑world applications. Olympiad competitions in AI, robotics, math, coding, and problem‑solving pushed participants to think critically, innovate boldly, and collaborate across cultures.
Continuing the Math and Robotics Olympiad Championship & Culture
The Mathematics Olympiad and another round of the Robotics Challenge kept the energy high. New arrivals from Bangladesh added to the international mix. Later, participants explored Icon SIAM, experiencing Thailand’s modern lifestyle and cultural richness, before celebrating on a Chao Phraya River luxurious dinner cruise under Bangkok’s glittering skyline.
Reflection & Farewell
The Closing Ceremony honored achievements with certificates and heartfelt reflections. Students shared how the program deepened their passion for AI, STEAM, and innovation, while friendships and cultural bonds made the experience unforgettable. After photo sessions and a final lunch, participants checked out and departed carrying home not just knowledge, but memories to last a lifetime.
🔥 Takeaway: The NextGen Olympiad wasn’t just about tech, it was about connection, creativity, and global perspective. A true fusion of learning, laughter, and leadership.
The International NextGen Olympiad & AI Robotics Bootcamp (5–9 June 2026, Thailand) co-organized by AIT and GEIST International Foundation has brought together students from Nepal, Vietnam, and Bangladesh for a vibrant mix of cultural exchange and cutting‑edge learning. From quirky icebreaker robotics challenges to intensive AI, STEAM, and drone workshops, participants explored innovation while building teamwork and global friendships. Teachers engaged in forward‑thinking sessions on AI-Augmented Teacher in education, while students showcased their cultures in lively performances.
