Rooted in a family tradition of trading fruits and vegetables, my work is driven by an urgency to respond to the erasure of local knowledge and ecologies by extractive systems, and to imagine more ethical forms of cohabitation and ecological awareness. Over the years I have developed a multidisciplinary practice spanning photography, sculpture, installation, writing, and collaborative initiatives — grounded in building meaningful relationships with both place and people, remaining open and attentive to what emerges and developing initiatives on the basis of this reciprocity.

Ryotaro Fuyuki’s practice originates in sculpture, while extending toward the conditions under which objects and systems continue to operate beyond human intention. Through subjects such as stones marking borders, lost objects, traces of place, and rumors, he reconfigures unstable relations prior to the fixing of meaning and function. His work seeks to slightly defer the closure of understanding, opening up other temporalities and readings within the present.

Pichai Pongsasaovapark
Songkhla, Thailand

Born in Hat Yai, Songkhla, Thailand, 1963. Pichai Pongsasaovapark is a Thai artist based in Bangkok, who uses abstract imagery, digital photography, and conceptual installation works to address social and environmental issues. As an artist, he seeks to raise public awareness of issues, move hearts and minds, provide insights and fuel public discussion on risks to health and the environment. Since completing his MFA (Painting) from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Chiang Mai University, and curator studies at California State University East Bay, in Hayward, California, he has focused his art on environmental issues, including climate change, the impact of rising seas and urban flooding, overfishing of the oceans and the impact on Thai fishing communities, the impact of drought and the use of agrichemicals on Thai farming communities, and the need for environmentally conscientious urban planning. As art critic Scott Thayer observed in an Art Asia Pacific review of Pichai’s 2017 exhibition, Looking and Seeing, the artist’s work provides “a sobering solemnity in its visualizations of pollution and catastrophic climate change.”

His artwork is in such collections as the Luciano Benetton Foundation in Milan, Italy, the City of South San Francisco, California; United Nations Conference Center in Bangkok, Thailand; and the U.S. National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, USA, and has been shown in either solo or group exhibitions globally, including in Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Marseille, New York, San Francisco, Shanghai, Singapore, Tampa, and Venice. He was included in THAILAND: SPIRITUAL & MATERIAL – CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS FROM THAILAND (FABRICA 2014).

พิชัย พงศาเสาวภาคย์

I hope my work leaves you with nothing, no feelings, no emotions. Because if it does, it means you’ve never experienced what I have, or maybe you’ve already forgotten. My art isn’t made to please or comfort; it’s a reflection of the things I cannot say, the emotions that linger just beneath the surface. for me, art is not just a medium, it's a language. I use it to express the feelings and thoughts that words fail to capture. Whether through painting, digital art, photography, or design, my work serves as a bridge between the seen and the unseen, the spoken and the unspeakable. If you feel something when you look at my work, know that you are not alone. At that moment, we shared an experience. Through my art, I hope to remind you that there’s a connection between us, no matter how distant or unfamiliar the world might seem.

Oat Montien
Bangkok, Thailand

Oat Montien (b. 1989) (he/him/they/them) is a mixed media artist, considered one of the prominent voices in Thailand’s contemporary q***r art scene. His works often challenge traditional ideas of gender, beauty, and morality by centering q***r bodies and intimacy as forms of resistance. He frequently uses the body as both a political and poetic site, especially in relation to Thai masculinity, s*x work, and q***r desire.
Growing up around s*x workers in Bangkok, Montien uses eroticism as poetic allegory for the complex experience of marginalized identities.
In 2020, he founded Bodhisattava Gallery, described as Thailand’s first gallery dedicated exclusively to Southeast Asian LGBTQ+ artists. Through the gallery, he has advocated for q***r visibility and created exhibition spaces for artists whose work addresses s*xuality and gender diversity.
His exhibitions and screenings have appeared at institutions including:
Thailand Biennale 2025 (Phuket) , Schwules Museum (Berlin), Tom of Finland Foundation (LA), Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (Bangkok), Today Art Museum (Beijing), and many more.

โอ๊ต มณเฑียร (พัฒนพงศ์ มณเฑียร) เป็นศิลปินสื่อผสมที่ได้รับการยอมรับว่าเป็นหนึ่งในเสียงสำคัญของศิลปะร่วมสมัยเควียร์ของประเทศไทย ผลงานของเขามักตั้งคำถามต่อแนวคิดดั้งเดิมเกี่ยวกับเพศสภาพ ความงาม และศีลธรรม โดยให้ความสำคัญกับเรือนร่างและความใกล้ชิดของผู้มีความหลากหลายทางเพศในฐานะรูปแบบหนึ่งของการต่อต้านอำนาจเชิงโครงสร้าง เขามักใช้ร่างกายในฐานะพื้นที่ทั้งทางการเมืองและเชิงกวี โดยเฉพาะในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความเป็นชายแบบไทย งานบริการทางเพศ และความปรารถนาแบบเควียร์ เขา

Pangrok Sulap is an art collective established in 2010 in Ranau, Sabah. The collective is made up of multi-disciplines of artists, curators, writers, researchers, activists, musicians, graphic designers, entrepreneur crafts maker and more. This diversity enriches the collective discipline and in turn makes the collective more dynamic. Thus, benefiting itself to run various activities and programs.
Along with the collective's mission to strengthen the community through art, they have organised art exhibitions, projects and collaboration with multiple communities for the development of social, culture, economic and education. Since 2013, Pangrok Sulap has participated in various art exhibitions locally and globally.
In addition, they have been actively involved with many community projects, forums, workshops and art studies. Some of the collective works have become collections of museums and galleries such as Mori Art Museum (Japan), Singapore Art Museum (Singapore) and Queensland Art Gallery (Australia).

กลุ่มศิลปิน Pangrok Sulap ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2553 ที่เมืองรานาอู รัฐซาบาห์ โดยเป็นกลุ่มที่ประกอบด้วยสมาชิกจากหลากหลายสาขา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นศิลปิน ภัณฑารักษ์ นักเขียน นักวิจัย นักกิจกรรม นักดนตรี นักออกแบบกราฟิก ผู้ประกอบการ และช่างฝีมือ เป็นต้น ความหลากหลายนี้ช่วยเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งให้กับแนวทางการทำงานของกลุ่ม ทำให้เกิดความเคลื่อนไหวที่มีพลวัต และเอื้อต่อการดำเนินกิจกรรมและโครงการต่าง ๆ ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

Nontawat Machai
Phatthalung,Thailand

Nontawat Machai was born in 1996 in Phatthalung Province in southern Thailand. He graduated in Performing Arts from Chiang Mai University. He began his journey from the Banthat Mountain range between Phatthalung and Nakhon Si Thammarat, traveling in search of the meaning of life. He later moved to Chiang Mai to develop his practice in writing and theatre under the name Lanyim Theatre Group, while also working at the Northern People's History Archive, Huean Kru Angoon (Suan Anya), under the Chaivana Foundation in Chiang Mai. He is currently a producer, university lecturer, theatre practitioner, and contemporary performance artist. He is a member of Lanyim Theatre Group, the founder of the Pa Phayom Community Theatre Company, and the owner of MAMA Studio. He continues to travel and create performance works across Southeast Asia. In parallel, he is involved in organizing the Chiang Mai Performing Arts Festival and works with the COZOMIA Performing Arts Archives, a performing arts archival initiative.

นลธวัช มะชัย เกิดปี 2539 ที่จังหวัดพัทลุง ภาคใต้ของประเทศไทย เรียนจบด้านศิลปะการแสดง จากมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ออกเริ่มต้นการเดินทางจากเทือกเขาบรรทัด พัทลุง – นครศรีธรรมราช ดั้นด้นมาค้นหาความหมายของชีวิต เพื่อฝึกฝนการเขียนและทำละครอยู่ที่เชียงใหม่ในนามกลุ่มลานยิ้มการละคร พร้อมกับทำงานอยู่ที่หอประวัติศาสตร์ประชาชนภาคเหนือ เฮือนครูองุ่น มาลิก (สวนอัญญา) มูลนิธิไชยวนา เชียงใหม่ ปัจจุบันเป็นโปรดิวเซอร์ อาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัย นักการละคร นักปฏิบัติการศิลปะการแสดงร่วมสมัย สมาชิกกลุ่มลานยิ้มการละคร เป็นผู้ก่อตั้งคณะละครชุมชนป่าพะยอม และเจ้าของ MAMA Studio ยังคงออกเดินทางเร่ร่อนสร้างงานศิลปะการแสดงในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้อย่างต่อเนื่อง ควบคู่ไปกับการทำเทศกาลศิลปะการแสดงเชียงใหม่ Chiang Mai Performing Arts Festival และ หอจดหมายเหตุ COZOMIA Performing Arts Archives

Surajate Tongchua
Bangkok, Thailand

Surajate Tongchua Born 1986 in Bangkok, Lives and works in Chiang Mai Thailand. He graduated from the Department of Print Making, Faculty of Fine Art, Chiang Mai University in 2010. His works focus on social power relations that cause the problem of state structure (the Organic crisis). Such critical concepts and philosophy of praxis have questioned the existing world view, inviting the audience to step away from seeing under the common perception’s filter. Instead, to deconstruct and to look into the core that is behind the scenes that appear socially. His concept and interests which are based on cross-disciplinary knowledge, art, social science, political science and government result in his work over the past decade.They reflect sharply toward the political situation by leaving traces of contention in the field of thought, more or less. Apart from the role of artist and invited lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University during 2011-2025, he is also an initiator who cofound the Bubble Art Space in Chiang Mai, in 2018, with an aim to reinforce participatory and social engagement art within the site.

He is interested in Contemporary Art, Conceptual Art and Installation Art, resulting in most of his works using multi mediums and techniques depending on the issues and content he expressed. It is a strategy of using ready-mades or converting the material into another dimension to openly describe current social phenomena.

สุรเจต ทองเจือ
(กรุงเทพมหานคร, ประเทศไทย)

สุรเจต ทองเจือ เกิดเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2529 ที่กรุงเทพมหานคร ปัจจุบันพำนักและทำงานอยู่ที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ประเทศไทย เขาสำเร็จการศึกษาจากภาควิชาภาพพิมพ์ คณะวิจิตรศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ในปี พ.ศ. 2553 ผลงานของเขามุ่งเน้นไปที่ความสัมพันธ์เชิงอำนาจทางสังคมซึ่งก่อให้เกิดปัญหาในโครงสร้างรัฐ(วิกฤตเชิงโครงสร้างแบบ Organic crisis) แนวคิดเชิงวิพากษ์และปรัชญาเชิงปฏิบัติของเขาตั้งคำถามต่อโลกทัศน์ที่มีอยู่เดิม โดยเชิญชวนผู้ชมให้ก้าวออกจากการมองผ่านกรอบการรับรู้แบบสามัญ และหันไป “รื้อถอน” เพื่อมองเข้าไปยังแก่นแท้ที่อยู่เบื้องหลังภาพปรากฏทางสังคม แนวคิดและความสนใจของเขาตั้งอยู่บนองค์ความรู้แบบสหสาขา ทั้งศิลปะ สังคมศาสตร์ รัฐศาสตร์ และการปกครอง ซึ่งสะท้อนออกมาในผลงานตลอดทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา โดยมีลักษณะวิพากษ์ต่อสถานการณ์ทางการเมือง และทิ้งร่องรอยของความขัดแย้งในพื้นที่ความคิดไม่มากก็น้อย
นอกเหนือจากบทบาทศิลปินและอาจารย์รับเชิญที่คณะวิจิตรศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2554–2568 เขายังเป็นผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง Bubble Art Space ในจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2561 โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อส่งเสริมศิลปะเชิงมีส่วนร่วม (participatory art) และการมีส่วนร่วมทางสังคมภายในพื้นที่ เขามีความสนใจในศิลปะร่วมสมัย ศิลปะแนวคิด (Conceptual Art) และศิลปะจัดวาง (Installation Art) ส่งผลให้งานส่วนใหญ่ใช้สื่อและเทคนิคที่หลากหลาย ขึ้นอยู่กับประเด็นและเนื้อหาที่ต้องการนำเสนอ ซึ่งเป็นกลยุทธ์ในการใช้วัตถุสำเร็จรูป (ready-mades) หรือการแปรสภาพวัสดุให้กลายเป็นอีกมิติหนึ่ง เพื่ออธิบายปรากฏการณ์ทางสังคมร่วมสมัยอย่างเปิดเผย

Worawan Klumpichai
Songkhla, Thailand

Worawan Klumpichai (Born in 2002, Songkhla, Thailand) She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University. Her work explores the relationship between “objects” as entities connected to personal memory and shared social structures. She presents her practice through mixed media and installation art as a process of assembling fragile memory-based objects together with non-permanent, time-based media such as light and scent.

วรวรรณ กล่ำพิชัย
(สงขลา, ประเทศไทย)

วรวรรณ กล่ำพิชัย (เกิดปี พ.ศ. 2545, จังหวัดสงขลา, ประเทศไทย) จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี สาขาสหศาสตร์ศิลป์ คณะวิจิตรศิลป์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ผลงานของเธอมุ่งสำรวจความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง ‘วัตถุ‘ ในฐานะสิ่งที่เกี่ยวโยงกับความทรงจำส่วนตนและโครงสร้างทางสังคมร่วม โดยนำเสนองานผ่านรูปแบบศิลปะสื่อผสมและศิลปะจัดวาง เป็นกระบวนการประกอบสร้างระหว่างวัตถุทางความทรงจำที่เปราะบาง ร่วมกับสื่อที่ไม่คงทนถาวรตามกาลและเวลา เช่น แสงและกลิ่น
