“This song is simple and light. Yet, it’s a testament to someone finally experiencing genuine love. We collaborated on this song at a sync summit in Houston. I was asked if I knew of any musicians who could play piano, and the first person I called was my friend Phillip K. Jones II. He is no longer with us, but his spirit resonates in this song. As soon as he heard the track, he sat down at the piano and started playing. The spirit in his hands moved so fast that once he got in a groove, we let him shed, aka rip. Phillip only needed to play once, and that's what you hear. I wish he could’ve been here to experience this moment, but I am honored that he said “yes,” says Ashley Támar. “Collaborating with SunnithaRapper and Phillip K.
