Not every uncomfortable feeling is a problem to solve.
Some are information.
These photos were taken by my daughter.
And looking through them made me think about how differently we can see exactly the same world.
We may walk along the same road, look at the same beach, pass the same trees — and notice completely different things.
Children haven’t yet learned what is supposedly “important” enough to deserve their attention. Sometimes they stop exactly where an adult would simply walk past.
Perhaps this is one of the things we can learn from them: not how to see the world correctly, but how to look at it again.

Complex things in simple terms.
Doesn’t it seem strange to you that people who reflect on higher things, spirituality, and mindfulness don’t know how to park a car without getting in anyone’s way?
Doesn’t it seem strange that a person who talks about kindness leaves angry comments on social media?
And what about Maurizio Cattelan’s artwork “Banana on Duct Tape” for $120,000?
You know, in my work, I look for contradictions between what a person says, how they say it, and what they show. I’ve learned to doubt and ask questions in order to understand things for myself and look more deeply into certain matters.
But if the king is naked, then he is naked. And if it’s a banana taped to a wall, then it’s a banana and duct tape.
But you can find a hidden meaning even in s**t — the kind that, according to the saying, means money. Or maybe it’s just s**t?
Living on an island keeps reminding me of something simple: life is happening while we are busy thinking about it.
A walk. The sea. Two dogs on the beach. The weather changing. A few minutes when there is nowhere you need to rush.
We often wait for something significant to happen before we allow ourselves to feel that life is good. But perhaps our ability to notice the ordinary is part of our psychological well-being too.
Sometimes nothing special is happening.
And that is already something.

The more I work with people, the more I notice how differently we experience the same things — fear, confidence, emotions, relationships, even our own bodies.
Some of these observations have stayed with me over the years. I’ve collected a few of them in this carousel.
Swipe through — and tell me which one resonates with you most.
A little change of scenery ✨
Boxes, books, art materials — and the familiar process of turning a new space into a place where work can begin.
Sometimes a new chapter starts simply with unpacking.
Sometimes I don’t need answers.
I just need trees, wind, birdsong, and a few quiet minutes.
Nature has a remarkable way of reminding us that nothing is in a hurry—yet everything keeps growing.
Maybe that’s enough for today.
Not every productive day looks busy.
Sometimes it looks like slow music, a cup of tea, a laptop, and enough time to think.
I’ve noticed that the best ideas rarely arrive in a rush.
They appear when there is enough silence to hear them.
Maybe we all need a little more space between one task and the next.
