เมืองแพร่มีมรดกที่รู้จักกันดีที่สุดคือผ้า "หม้อห้อมและงานฝีมือไม้สัก" อย่างไรก็ตาม กระบวนการทำผ้าหม้อห้อมในเมืองแพร่ยังห่างไกลจากการเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยว ซึ่งต้องการการสนับสนุนจากหลายภาคส่วน งานฝีมือไม้สักก็เผชิญกับปัญหาเดียวกัน โดยเทคนิคและความรู้ที่มีคุณค่าไม่สามารถเข้าถึงนักท่องเที่ยวได้
สถานที่ตั้งอยู่ในเมืองแพร่ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เต็มไปด้วยบ้านเรือน พื้นที่เชิงพาณิชย์ยังไม่ได้ถูกกำหนดและผสมผสานเข้ากับบ้านเรือนของในเวียง อาคารรอบข้างประกอบด้วยสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกด้านกีฬาเป็นส่วนใหญ่ เช่น โรงยิม สนามฟุตบอล สระว่ายน้ำ สนามแบดมินตัน สนามเทนนิส และสำนักงานจังหวัด
เนื่องจากในเวียงมีความหนาแน่นด้วยบ้านเรือน Co-Creation จึงจัดพื้นที่สำหรับการจัดแสดงและเป็นสถานที่ทำงานสำหรับคนแพร่ เทศกาลสามารถจัดขึ้นได้ทั้งในพื้นที่ Co-Creation และ Forest Lab ตั้งแต่กระบวนการเตรียมการไปจนถึงกิจกรรมจริง
เพื่ออุทิศให้กับงานฝีมือของแพร่ โดยจัดพื้นที่สำหรับการอบรมเกี่ยวกับงานไม้และผ้า
ให้ความรู้ด้านวัฒนธรรมผ่านโปรแกรมหลักก่อนหน้านี้ รวมถึงห้องสมุดและการจัดแสดงในอนาคต TCDC แพร่ถือเป็นศูนย์วัฒนธรรมใหม่ของแพร่ซึ่งนักท่องเที่ยวสามารถรวบรวมความรู้ที่มีค่าได้..................
Phrae’s most well-known heritage is ‘Mo Hom’ dyed fabric and Teak Wood crafts. However, Phrae’s natural process of Mo Hom is far from being a tourist attraction, which it requires support from many sectors. Teak wood furniture faces the same issue where the valuable crafts technique and knowledge is not reachable for tourists.
The site is located in Phrae City where it is mostly filled with household. Commercial area is not defined and blends into the household of Nai Wiang. Surrounding buildings are consist of mostly sport facilities such as Gymnasium, Football Stadium, Swimming Pool, Badminton Court, Tennis Court, and Provincial Offices.
As Nai Wiang is crowded with household, Co-Creation provide area for showcase and workspace for Phrae people. Festival can take place in both the Co-Creation area and Forest Lab from the pre-production process to the actual event.
Forest Lab is dedicated to the crafts of Phrae, providing space for workshop on Wood crafts and Fabric works.
TCDC Phrae provide cultural knowledge through the previous main programs, along with the library and future showcases, TCDC Phrae is considered the new cultural center of Phrae where tourists can gather the valuable knowledge.
