In March we celebrate Love Wildlife's 14th year anniversary by welcoming two babies at Khaolak Merlin Resort. Hello baby Slow Loris and Brahminy Kite 🩷 Moments like these remind us about who we do this for and what makes the hard work worth it 🌺 #klmbiodiversityproject #Lovewildlifefoundation

Happy World Forestry Day from the birds @khaolakmerlin and #BigTrees. 🌴🌲🌳 Trees and forests provide the habitat for our birds to live, forage, hunt, and thrive. In return, birds play a vital role in the propagation and recovery of forests; by spreading seeds throughout the landscape, birds help proliferate a forest's area of growth. Enjoy this video of a Vernal Hanging Parrot feasting on a Toothbrush Orchid at the #KLMbiodiversity project doing their part in keeping our forests healthy and flourishing. 🌺

Fluffy friends down south 🌿 During the explorative Night Walk activity at Khaolak Merlin Resort, our team sighted one of our most beloved friends, the slow loris, happily munching away on some Pandanus fruit and tree sap. A slow loris' diet consists mostly of tree sap, gum, and nectar although they are also oppurtunistic omnivores. Their lazy lifestyle and slow metabolism is linked to their diet which is low in energy and typically contains toxins or digestion inhibitors.
