Civilization is a rare anomaly — a signal of disorder spreading through an indifferent universe, born only because one species evolved a mind sharp enough to build it. Earth became one of these lucky places. And from it, something called “human” emerged.

But is the human will itself a malfunction, written into the code from the start?

Why can’t we stop craving violence? Is the body as beautiful as the ideals we paint it to be — or underneath, is it something too strange to look at?

Can belief, however beautifully built, really cleanse the cruelty inside us?

THE LUCKY WOUND is a doubt cast on our own species — a scar that gnaws, intrudes, and erodes every living thing on a planet that was supposed to be lucky.

อารยธรรม คือสิ่งบ่งชี้ถึงการแผ่ขยายของความไม่ปกติในจักรวาล ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ยากจะได้พบเจอ อันเนื่องมาจากสิ่งมีชีวิตที่มีสติปัญญาสูงล้ำเท่านั้นที่จะสร้างอารยธรรมขึ้นมาได้ แต่… โลกเป็นพื้นที่แห่งความโชคดี ซึ่งมีอารยธรรมจากน้ำมือของสิ่งมีชีวิตที่เรียกว่า “มนุษย์” ได้ก่อตัวขึ้นมา

หากแต่ว่ามนุษย์นั้นมีเจตจำนงที่คลับคลาไม่ปกติ อันประกอบสร้างขึ้นมาด้วยรหัสพันธุกรรมหรือ?

ทำไมมนุษย์จึงไม่สามารถหยุดโหยหาความรุนแรงได้?

รูปลักษณ์ร่างกายเนื้อหนังของมนุษย์นั้นสวยงามดั่งอุดมคติในงานศิลปะจริงหรือ? หรือภายใต้เนื้อหนังกลับแปลกประหลาดเกินกว่าจะจับจ้อง?

ความเชื่อที่ถูกสรรสร้างสวยงามขึ้นมาเพื่อชำระความกักขฬะ อธรรมในใจมนุษย์ได้จริงไหม?

THE LUCKY WOUND คือความสงสัยในเผ่าพันธุ์ของตนเอง ที่เปรียบดั่งร่องรอยโรคร้ายที่กัดแทะ แทรกแซง เซาะกร่อน ไปทุกสรรพชีวิตในดวงดาวที่ควรจะเป็นพื้นที่แห่งความโชคดี
