The studio palette of Verapat Sitipol serves as a physical archive of the artist’s repeated encounters with the landscapes of Sai Yok. While green is ubiquitous in nature, its presence here is a calculated record of rarity-a distillation of moments of stillness that are increasingly difficult to find. In Sitipol’s practice, these specific shades of green are not merely descriptive; they are vessels for a quiet relationship between memory and landscape. 

The “Living Green” captured in these layers of oil represents the light beneath the forest and the rhythm of staying with the environment. As seen in the accumulation of pigment on the palette, the paint itself becomes a way to hold each moment. These greens are rare chromatic traces of time passing through experience, eventually refined into the lines that connect memory and presence into a single, quiet continuity.
