แนวคิดการออกแบบ ออกแบบให้สอดคล้องกับรอยพระพุทธบาทโดยที่ฝ้าเพดานมีการเขียนการเสด็จมาขององค์พระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าโดยมีเหล่าเทวดามาแสดงการสักการะ ตรงแกนกันด้านล่างนี้ประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปปางประทับรอยพระพุทธบาทมีพญานาคคู่ถวายดอกบัว ตามตำนานพระเกศาธาตุ วัดพระธาตุดอยสะเก็ด ทั้งหมดอยู่ในแกนเดียวกันทั้งหมด เป็นการเล่าเรื่องราวผ่านงานตกแต่งทั้งหมด
