Hey guys! I visited concert of Nathan East here, in Bangkok. It was really amazing show. Nathan was very kind and agreed to take a photo together. The concert also featured the cool thai band ETC.

Yesterday I attended a masterclass and mini-concert by one of the best bassists of our time — Vincen Garcia (Spain🇪🇸).

The event was organized by Yamaha Thailand and took place at the hall of Chulalongkorn University (Royal University of Chulalongkorn).
It opened with performances by Thai bassists — winners of the Yamaha 🇹🇭 contest. Each of them played three pieces. A pretty good start!

Yamaha also set up a special booth with their instruments (guitars and basses 🎸), where anyone could try them out and experience the sound firsthand.

Then everyone moved to the main hall, where the long-awaited session with Vincen Garcia began.

During the seminar, Vincen played several of his own compositions, shared secrets of his playing technique (slap, ghost notes, etc.), showed some exercises, and answered questions from the audience. It was awesome! 🔥

After the concert, I even had a quick face-to-face talk with Vincen 🤏🏻 — and, of course, took a photo together 🤦🏻‍♂️😁
What a great day it was! 😌

Это Fender Jazz Bass Re62 , Japan 🇯🇵. Гриф из клена, накладка палисандр, дека из липы. Инструмент сделан в конце 1989 - начале 1990 гг. , на главной на тот момент фабрике Fender в Японии - “FujiGen Gakki” (Мацумото, Нагано), в самый период её расцвета. Некоторые модели этих времен, не только не уступают американским, но и превосходят их. Будем делать грув!🙌🏼

This is a Fender Jazz Bass Re62, Japan 🇯🇵. Maple neck, rosewood fretboard, basswood body. The instrument was made in late 1989 – early 1990 at Fender’s main Japanese factory at the time — FujiGen Gakki (Matsumoto, Nagano), during its golden era. Some models from that period not only rival the American ones, but even surpass them.
Time to drop some serious groove! 🙌🏼
