⚽🔥 GBAC All Star Football 🔥⚽
A huge congratulations to all athletes from Years 7–13 selected to represent GBAC Fire or GBAC Ice at this year's All Star Football event.

Being chosen for an All Star team is an outstanding achievement and recognition of the hard work, dedication, talent, and sportsmanship shown throughout the season. The event brings together top footballers from across GBAC, providing opportunities to collaborate with athletes from other schools, develop independence, improve football skills, and create lasting friendships and memories.

We are incredibly proud of every player who earned the opportunity to wear the Fire or Ice colours. Well done on this fantastic achievement and for representing your schools and the GBAC community with pride.

Aladdin Musical 2026

Who would have thought that a seemingly ordinary classic like Aladdin would become one of the most defining productions in SPIP history? From handless cartwheels that left audiences stunned to the sing-along erupting among the crowd during our famous Risk it All scene, this was far more than a typical school play. It shattered expectations and proved that SPIP productions are capable of delivering unforgettable moments that go well beyond the boundaries of our mini theater.

What really brought this production to life were the students. Every dance number was made possible by the talent they brought to the stage. We didn’t have to teach them much - we simply gave them the opportunity to showcase the skills they already had. From traditional Thai dance to ballet, the show blended a wide range of styles, creating a performance that had something for everyone to enjoy.

Year 9 Residential Trip – Kanchanaburi

From learning about the history of pottery making to painting their own pottery pieces to take home, students had the chance to explore local culture in a fun and creative way.

The trip was also packed with activities, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to make memories with friends. Whether they were learning something new, challenging themselves, or simply enjoying time together, our Year 9 students made the most of every moment.

Over several weeks, students in Years 7 through 10 were given design challenges to tackle within their tutor groups, culminating in last Friday's SPIP Science Carnival. Year 7s took on the balloon-powered car challenge, while Year 8s engineered custom catapults. Year 9s returned to the egg drop competition, and Year 10s worked to make their wind turbines as efficient as possible.

This year featured an exciting change, as our Year 12 students ran eight science game booths created by the science teachers. Students and staff had a great time competing for big and small prizes with activities like the steady hand wire loop game, a magnetic maze, looking at everyday objects under microscopes, teacher-invented biology and chemistry card games, and a Periodic Table beanbag toss.

Congratulations to this year's winning tutor groups:
Year 7: Mr. Mohammed Nisar Shah’s tutor group
Year 8: Ms. Lauren Scott’s tutor group, Team 1
Year 9: Ms. Makiko Kawase’s tutor group
Year 10: Mr. Kevin Hall's tutor group

The Language and Cultural Exchange Programme at Meikei High School gave students a great opportunity to experience school life and culture in Japan.

The programme took place from 7 May to 18 July 2026, with three students joining the exchange programme:
During their stay in Japan, the students attended classes, joined cultural activities, and spent time with Japanese students both inside and outside the classroom.

They learned more about Japanese culture, made new friends, and gained valuable international experience.

Overall, the programme was a meaningful and unforgettable experience that helped the students become more confident, independent, and open-minded.

Our Year 7 students explored Thai history during their field trip to the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall 🇹🇭✨

Through fantastic presentations, interactive displays, and modern exhibition techniques, students learned about the history and development of the Rattanakosin Era, excitingly and engagingly.

It was a good experience that brought history to life beyond the classroom.
