My favorite cat. Her name is „Khrong Khrong“. She is a very active cat. We found her when she was about 7 days old. She has a brother and a sister, but we never found the mother. We actually found the brother first, who revealed the existence of his two sisters. We raised the 3 cats. Today they are already 2 years old since the day we found them. „Khrong Khrong“ and her brother „Iang“ are still living and playing together. The other sister is adopted and enjoying her life in a family somewhere else.

This may have been on the mind of this barbary macaque girl in Affenberg Salem in the south if Germany. ~200 barbary macaques living there together on a space of 20 hectars pure forest with the approach to rewild this endangered macaque species back to the atlas mountains. It’s a great place to visit and to support.

Help them and their home - the rainforest - to save them. They are absolutely beautiful and amazing animals that need proper protection.
