LANGSUAN VILLAGE WALKING STREET

Langsuan Village is the new luxurious mixed used development in central Bangkok, a new landmark that will inspire modern sustainable urban developments. The organic planning of Walking Street enhances the flowing landscape of the roof, as the lengthy green structure wanders over the street below. The massive green roof is supported by branches of treelike columns and canopies over the shopping areas and pedestrian walkways to accentuate the experience of strolling in a park. The experience is heightened as 5 main courts shimmer with rays of light seeping through the roof canopy, creating shadows below like the pattern of leaves. The randomly perforated ceiling does not only function in daylight, but also illuminates during the night like fire-flies. Its organic form that extends towards the Lumpini Park can be appreciated when approach from Langsuan road, creating a memorable impact for visitors through the walking street, distinctive animated.
