Fifty years ago, the demon lord of Malgrith invaded the Vallorinth Empire and the Lumineia Kingdom, seeking to conquer Illuvia.

After decades of war, the two regions, united with a hero party, defeated the demon lord and its forces, leaving Malgrith to answer for its actions.
