White Deer Ranch was given its’ name after discovering, the first week of having moved here, that an albino whitetail doe was living on the place. She was in the area for a few years only being spotted from time to time. Then a long period of time went on no white deer were seen. However, off and on for the last 5 years there have again been sightings by neighbors and guests of the illusive white deer. We think it is a sign of good luck when we see one and always time time to stop no matter what we’re doing and watch them pass by.

We believe that if we take care of the worms and the honeybees with proper earth stewardship everything else will thrive.

And it did thrive, as did we for having lived here for these past decades; Lee since 1989 and Roxanne since 1998, our children and grand children (now even great grandchildren) have also enjoyed the experiences here. The fresh air, the abundant crystal clear water that tastes like rays of sunshine and the endless views and nature all around is good for your soul.

If we didn’t have a strong desire to start seeing other parts of the world, we could be happy in this little spot forever. But, something is calling us to enter the next phase of our lives.
