How about a doughnut in the Incredible Street Food Stalls in Yaowarat’s Chinatown?
This doughnut is called "pa tong go," an adaptation of the Chinese "youtiao." These crispy golden doughnuts are irresistible. They are soft and doughy on the inside with a tender crispiness on the outside. They just crumble when you bite down and are best eaten fresh off the fryer, especially after dunking them in sangkhaya bai toey (Thai pandan custard) or in sweetened condensed milk. At Pa Tong Go Savoey, the dough is made from wheat flour, and this famous stall is said to be the best in Bangkok.

This secret food stop on our Bangkok Food Tour takes you to this small stall, family-owned and managed, and its signature dish is roasted chicken noodles. The noodles have a crispy, non-oily texture and are rich in seasoning aromas. Highly recommended is the Khao Lao Haeng, the dry option, which is served with a crispy omelette, chicken, and squid.
