Just saw the news that on of the best players in the current crop of Sierra Leone footballers Mohamed Buya Turay is set to join USA 🇺🇸 second tier club Birmingham Legion FC from Danish top tire club Odense Boldklub.

I feel bad at this news. I feel bad because, in the era when we have finally gotten a government that actually takes football seriously, we have a crop of footballers who are not up to the task to bring out the value for the money the government is spending. We need a robust strategy to overhaul football in this country.
