Proclaiming the Gospel is... {takes semi-deep breath}...it’s an honor, a humbling privilege to bear the testimony of Christ through spoken word, through rhyme and by any other means (seems to me like the T-Shirt is playing a role in the proclamation of the gospel)

This message isn’t mine; it’s His.
The Gospel is life’s essence, the heartbeat of hope, the truth that sets souls free.
Aside from the bars, the gospel unfiltered carries the weight of eternity echoing the grace that saved me, mine, Sakhile Mpumelelo Ciniso Keith Simelane... It's the truth that sustains me.

Empeleni, I am grateful to stand, to speak, to "do what it does" and point hearts to the One who never fails.

It is a blessing to witness a New Year unfold, a living testament to God's steadfast nature—His unwavering hand upon His people, my marriage, my well-being, my relationships, my purpose, and the gifts He has placed within me.

It was then that he sat, reflected and began writing a psalm of gratitude...

In every chorus, every bridge, every bar, His grace is profound.

Oh Lord, You’ve painted my path with praise,
With voices like rivers, flowing in graceful ways.
Each note, each bar, each hit a needle threading joy through the soul,
Together we weave melodies that proclaim His goodness to all.

I don’t deserve even a whisper of His favor, let alone the flood He pours out daily. Why He keeps...
well, that’s beyond my understanding.
But I’m starting to think grace might just be His habit, and for that, I’m eternally thankful—more than words can say.
He gives, I receive, and somehow, it’s always enough.

So...within days (well, it would have been hours mane ke lenceku beyibanjwe mabhizi), he sent back a hook that moved my soul. I am not trying to be sentimental (even if I was, that wouldn't be the point), it ministered to me and I saw and :- Priceless!

This hook reflects the divine plan and purpose that God had from the very beginning. It speaks to how our lives were intricately designed by God with a purpose and destiny, which we were once unaware of.

Kwatsi ngesikhashana kuleliviki lelalandzela I had a change of mind and scrapped the JBNC idea and began toying with the idea of having a hook aka likhorasi, so I hit up my brother X.O. the Hip Hop Apostle asked him to please write the hook of the song, so I shared the concept of the song and the beat, to which he responded, "Interesting, bring it on..."

The Write Concept:
So...with a clear mind, I scripted the concept and a few lines; the concept of 'In The Beginning was clear since the intro of the production set the path and direction with a sample that states the same...also the initial direction was what I refer to as 'JBNC (Just Bars No Chorus) just as done on ...But the story was unfolding and the concept was yet to transform_ing 📜

Mending Fences: 2024 came with a new mindset—🫸🏾 wait!____or did I come to 2024 with a new mindset 🤔
Anyway, I...I conveniently got bit by the 'This is my year!' bug and rekindled my relationship with "Time Management" and an old friend of mine "Priorities" who advised me to break up with "Procrastination", and I did, deleted the chats...(but kept her number)
