At FINCORP, our support for clients goes beyond providing finance.

Through our Business Development Support Unit (BDSU), we recently hosted a Board Orientation session for the boards of our farmer company clients, aimed at strengthening governance, compliance and the long-term sustainability of their businesses.

We were joined by Vuyo Dlamini from Eswatini Sugar Association (ESA), who facilitated a session on corporate governance and the roles and responsibilities of board members. Our BDS team also facilitated a session on Environmental and Social Compliance, helping the boards better understand how to identify and manage environmental and social risks within their operations.

For us, development finance is not only about providing access to funding. It is also about equipping our clients with the knowledge and support they need to build well-governed, responsible, and sustainable businesses. 🌾💚

During the week, they had an opportunity to experience the workplace, interact with our teams and gain a better understanding of the different roles and functions within FINCORP.
We hope the experience has given them useful insights as they continue exploring their future career paths.

Our Graduate Trainees recently attended the 2026 IPM Eswatini Students Convention at the IDM Auditorium, held under the theme: “From Graduate to Professional: Identity, Confidence, and Impact in the Real World.”
The convention offered practical insights into building professional confidence, developing a strong workplace identity, and preparing to make a meaningful impact.
