Siphocosini Pentecostal Assemblies Church Triumphs with 14-Day Tent Revival Under New Leadership

MBABANE — The Siphocosini Pentecostal Assemblies Church has concluded a highly successful 14-day tent revival, marking a powerful spiritual awakening and a bold new chapter for one of the region’s long-standing mainstream congregations.

Held in the Mvambi area, just past Embo Views near the Ntsetse Sports Ground under the Siphocosini Inkhundla, the two-week event drew over 500 attendees.

Despite the biting winter cold, the nightly gatherings saw a massive turnout from the local community, as well as high-profile figures, including local community leaders and the area's Member of Parliament, who also serves as the Minister of Health.

A New Chapter of Leadership

The success of the revival marks a triumphant return to form for the historic church, which had been without a permanent leader for roughly two years following the passing of Pastor M. Tfwala, who served the congregation diligently for over a decade.

The introduction of a new resident pastor just nearly four months ago has injected fresh energy into the congregation. Operating with a clear sense of purpose and vision, the new leadership has focused on reviving the church's foundational mission while maintaining its commitment to traditional gospel teachings.

Answering the Call

Anchored by the scriptural theme of Mark 10:49 "Rise up, He is calling you"—the revival focused heavily on spiritual renewal, community reconciliation, and outreach.

The message clearly resonated with the public. Following a significant number of positive responses and new converts over the 14 days, church leadership announced strategic plans to establish a new "branch" or daughter church directly within the Mvambi area to support the growing flock.

With momentum firmly on its side, the Siphocosini Pentecostal Assemblies Church appears poised for a season of substantial growth, signaling a bright future for both the congregation and its new pastor.
